Step 2: Apply Online

The online application is quick, easy and can be completed in 15 mins.

No CV or cover letter required. Fill out a few short questions and start your innovation journey.

Step 3: Attend Interview

The final stage of our application process is the interview.

From here, 24 successful applicants will get the chance to be a part of the 2021 Young Innovators Program.

Eligibility

The Young Innovators Program is an initiative by Equal Ed, run in partnership with Wyndham City Council and Brimbank City Council.

 

To be an eligible applicant, you must:
 

  1. Live, work, study, or be connected with either:

    • Brimbank City Council

    • OR

    • Wyndham City Council
       

  2. Be a young person (aged 18-35)

  3. Have a desire to create a positive impact in the community, and want to learn more about how you can achieve your vision.

 

Accessibility & Inclusion

Equal Ed is committed to challenging the wide range of structural barriers that young people from different backgrounds may need to overcome in order to access opportunities in education, employment or personal development.

 

If you do have concerns about whether the program would be accessible for you based on your personal needs and circumstances, we strongly encourage you to apply and discuss this with us during your application and induction process. Various adjustments and avenues of support may be available and Equal Ed will endeavour to make all reasonable and necessary considerations to make the program inclusive and accessible.
